Our journey started in 2022 during the height of the COVID pandemic, when we were in the market for a reliable used car. What we found instead was frustration—sky-high markups, confusing pricing, and pressure-heavy sales tactics. Some cars had $8,000 to $10,000 added onto their original prices, and the process left us wondering, isn’t there a smarter way to do this?
That question sparked the beginning of Carcadia. Instead of following the traditional dealership model with expensive commercial overhead, we partnered with Affordable Autos in Texas. Their willingness to work with us as a buyers agent gave us access to wholesale dealer-only auctions nationwide—meaning better cars at better prices for our clients.
